Researchers Successfully Reprogram Cancer Cells Back to Benign Cells by Debugging Microprocessor

Cancer is the fiercest disease to human.  Scientists always look for the way to fight cancer.  We have a good news after a lot of research and testing as Mayo Clinic researchers have discovered an unexpected connection between microRNA processing and cell-to-cell adhesion. This connection, the researchers maintain, not only explains the seemingly incongruous presence of adhesion proteins in cancer cells, it also suggests a way to reprogram rogue cancer cells, restoring normal behavior.

How DNA Proofreader Proteins MutS and MutL Work?

Two important proofreader proteins were discovered by scientists from North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  The proofreader proteins know where to look for errors during DNA replication and how they work together to signal the body's repair mechanism.
